Refund Policy (USA)

This policy applies to US clients of TechQilo. Our services are sold on a business-to-business basis — see our Terms & Conditions. This policy is the cancellation and refund arrangement that applies to your project.

Deposits and project payments

Website projects are paid in two parts: a 50% deposit before work begins, and the remaining 50% on launch. The deposit reserves your place in our schedule and covers the discovery, planning and design work that starts immediately.

Cancelling a project

• Before work begins. If you cancel before we have started any design or development work, your deposit is refunded in full.
• After work has begun. Once we have started design or development work, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. It covers the schedule slot and work already committed to your project, regardless of how much of that work is visible to you at the point of cancellation.
• After final delivery. Once the completed website has been delivered and handed over, the full project fee is non-refundable.

Our remedy for late delivery

We agree a launch date with you in writing before work begins. If we deliver later than that date for a reason within our control, you do not pay the final balance. This is your remedy for late delivery and applies instead of a right to a refund of the deposit.

Hosting and monthly maintenance

Monthly hosting and maintenance can be canceled at any time. Canceling stops future billing. The current month is not refunded, as the service has already been provided for that period. Domain registration fees are non-refundable once a domain has been purchased on your behalf, because we cannot recover that cost.

If we cannot deliver

If we are unable to deliver the service you paid for, you receive a full refund of any amount paid for undelivered work. If a delivered site does not function as agreed, tell us and we will correct it at no extra cost before any refund is considered.

Revisions

Each package includes a stated number of revision rounds. Revisions are not a substitute for a refund, and requesting additional changes beyond the included rounds does not create a right to a refund.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your project details and the reason for the request. We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few additional days to appear on your statement.
